Prevent Your Account from Being Banned
If you have studied the terms and conditions you will understand how Adsense is to be implemented and protect yourself from being banned from the program. Below are some more hints and tips for webmasters in keeping their access to the Adsense programs secure.
Tip 1 – Never click your own ads
At all costs, refrain from clicking your own ads. Adsense has specialized software tracking IP addresses and clicks and is in a position to identify click fraud immediately. Clicking your own ads will result in being banned from the Adsense program. If you want to see what an advertisers’ website look like, rather make use of the Adsense preview tool in your account.
Tip 2 – If possible, do not tell friends and family about your income
If possible, do not tell your friends and family how you are earning income from your website with Adsense. It is just natural that your friends and family will want to support you by visiting your website and clicking your ads. They will not do this to get you banned, but would want to help you with making money. This is what will get you banned.
Tip 3 – Do not ask visitors to click ads
Never, under any circumstances, ask website visitors to click ads or ‘support’ your website to keep it alive. Do not ask for this on your website or for that matter on any other website. Google will see this as you requesting people clicking on your ads and will ban your account.
Tip 4 – Never try to cheat or manipulate Google
Many unscrupulous individuals may sell or advertise methods, black or whitehat, in which you can increase your Adsense earnings. Never, ever, implement these systems, they are often against the terms and conditions of Google and will get you banned.
Tip 5 – Website submission
If you have Adsense ads on your website, it is okay to submit your website to search engines. Never submit your website to Auto Surf or similar websites.
Tip 6 – Images and Adsense
It is contained in the terms and conditions: never place images close to Adsense ad blocks.
Tip 7 – Track user activities
You should, on a daily basis, make use of programs such as Google Analytics or other stats programs monitor user activities on your website. Pay attention to clicks on your website.
Make use of channels within your Adsense account to monitor clicks made by your users.
You can also make use of click tracking software which will identify users misusing your website and Adsense ads.
Tip 8 – Suspicious IP addresses
If you identify any suspicious IP addresses and activities, rather be safe than sorry, and block these IP addresses in your hosting control panel. If you have identified these IP addresses, report them with immediate effect to Google Adsense.

Tip 9 – Keep your server secure
Never allow visitors to upload and activate executable files on your server. Malicious users can make use of bots to click ads and get you suspended. If you do have a file hosting site, pay attention to the file types you are allowing and file types that can be activated and cause prejudice.
In your Adsense account you should also place your URL’s in the ‘Allowed Sites’ section. This will protect your Adsense code from illegal external sites that may want to cause harm to you. You can access this facility from your Adsense Setup section in your Adsense account.
Tip 10 – Multiple Adsense accounts
Refrain from signing up for multiple Adsense accounts. The chances are good that Adsense will identify this and ban all your accounts.
